On 29th September 2019, Aspire Debate Rwanda signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University Rwanda. The three years agreement is aimed at enhancing the students’ involvement in co-curricular activities as described in the Foots Print Program.

The Pan African Universities Debate Championship (PAUDC 2018) which took place in Dar es Salam from 5th to 12th December 2021, was an interesting and experiencing competition made of many different African Countries like Ghana, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mauritius and many others including Rwanda.

Aspire Debate Rwanda eagers to empower young women through debate education.


On 30th October 2015, Aspire Debate Rwanda in collaboration with Akilah Institute for Women organized 1st ever National University Female Debate Championship hailed as “NFDC” held under theme “women’s role in public speaking and development of the nation”, aimed at ameliorating Rwanda’s goal of promoting and empowering women to stand and be part of the country’s development in different areas of leadership.
