National Female Debate Championship is an annual national debate forum or tournament that brings together young women in different categories that include but not limited to university female students, High schools female students and out of school females to articulate on different issues affecting them and is carried out in different locations of the nation identified by the different partners involved together with Aspire Debate Rwanda.
The forum aims at strengthening Rwanda’s goal of promoting and empowering young women to stand and be part of the development of the country in different areas as leaders. The program encourages freedom of speech for women ; inculcates critical thinking skills, communication skills, confidence and speech development. It further objects at promoting participation of women in key national issues and making them learn to use their voice to advocate for their rights and the rights of others.
